Posted October 12, 2018 05:04:00 American Samoa is one of a number of countries that has made the transition from a colonial era to modern times.
The nation’s tourism industry, which once saw tourists arriving in boats from America, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, has been hit hard by the economic recession.
The United States and Canada are the two main contributors to the island nation’s economy, with tourism coming in at $2.2 billion annually.
It is also the world’s fourth largest tourist destination, and the fourth largest in the world.
But while American Samoa has a thriving tourism industry as a result of its position on the Southern Hemisphere, the tourism industry has also suffered due to a decline in visitor numbers in recent years.
The International Bureau of Tourism estimates that only about 60 per cent of Americans visiting American Samoa in 2018 would choose to stay there in the future.
The economic impact of the recession is also being felt by the island’s indigenous population, whose traditional fishing methods are now at risk of being displaced by new tourism.
But despite the economic downturn, American Samoa remains one of the most popular destinations for tourists in the Caribbean.
American Samoa Tourism Association (ASA) president John Fusco said the tourism sector in the island has been a “wonderful thing” for the island over the years, but it’s also the “destination for our people.”
“In the past we would see people who came to the islands and wanted to go on a cruise, but they would go on other places, and that was their destination,” Fuscolo said.
“But now people are coming back to the Islands and saying ‘why not come to America and spend the summer on our country?'”
American Samoa, one of two American Samoa territories, is located in the Pacific Ocean.
The islands of American Samoa and Tuvalu are the only two territories in the Western Hemisphere that remain in the colonial period.
In fact, American Samoan history begins with a brief and brief visit to the British Isles.
British colonizers arrived in American Samoa after the American Civil War, which saw a number the Native Americans.
During the war, American settlers and British officers helped to secure the islands for the British Empire.
As a result, American American Samoans became part of the British empire, and were granted English and French citizenship.
American Samosans then began their own form of self-government, in which they established a government, a constitution, a currency and the first national newspaper.
They also became one of only three countries in the Americas to adopt the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, which states that all human beings are created equal.
American tourists are now a majority of the population of American Samoa, but Fuscio said it’s important that American Samoa remain a destination for American travelers.
“The tourism industry in the Islands is still very important for our economy, but we also need to attract more visitors,” Fussco said.
Fuscom said American Samoa’s population has also benefited from the tourism boom in other Caribbean countries, particularly the Bahamas, and is growing.
Fusscom said there are now more than 50,000 American Samoos living on the island.
American visitors, who comprise the majority of American visitors in the islands, are spending a disproportionate amount of their time on the islands’ beaches, fishing, or going to the local restaurants and stores.
American tourist numbers have increased from around 20,000 in 2016 to around 25,000 today.
Fustic said the island needs to continue to diversify its tourism industry to keep up with the increasing demand for the area.
“We need to continue with the diversification of our tourism industry so that we can keep our people healthy and stay vibrant in the region,” Fust, the association’s vice president, said.
